  • butter or margarine - 1/3 c
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • sifted flour - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • cake flour - 1 c
  • egg whites - 12 item
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp

How to make peanut butter brownies:

Separate eggs. Beat the whites until frothy. Add salt and cream of tartar; continue beating until eggs are stiff. Add the cornstarch to sugar and fold into egg whites, then fold the flour into the eggs, small amount at a time. Bake 35 minutes at 375°.
