Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- peanut butter - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- sifted flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- cake flour - 1 c
- egg whites - 12 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
How to make peanut butter brownies:
Separate eggs. Beat the whites until frothy. Add salt and cream of tartar; continue beating until eggs are stiff. Add the cornstarch to sugar and fold into egg whites, then fold the flour into the eggs, small amount at a time. Bake 35 minutes at 375°.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
