Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • water - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • stick butter - 1/2 item
  • peanuts - 1 pt
  • syrup - 1/2 c
  • dash of vanilla - 1 item

How to make peanut brittle:

Bring to a boil the sugar, syrup and water; boil until it threads. Add peanuts; boil until brown. Remove from heat. Add soda and vanilla, stirring to mix well. Pour onto greased cookie sheet. Let cool, then break into pieces.
