  • sugar - 3 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 3 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • peanuts - 3 c
  • Karo syrup - 1 c

How to make peanut brittle:

Mix sugar, Karo and water. Boil until it threads. Add peanuts. Cook until it turns a golden brown. Remove from heat. Add salt, butter and soda. Spread on buttered sheet pan. Break into pieces when cool.
