Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- water - 1/4 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 1/8 tsp
- peanuts - 3/4 c
How to make peanut brittle:
You will need a candy thermometer. Stir together sugar, corn syrup, water and cream of tartar in large saucepan. Boil together until the temperature is 248°, stirring well. Add butter and nuts; continue cooking until the temperature reaches 293Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Candy.
