Peach sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- honey - 2 Tbsp
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- ground allspice - 1/8 tsp
- grated orange rind - 1/2 tsp
- frozen sliced peaches, thawed - 3 c
How to make peach sauce:
Combine peaches and enough juice in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cover, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 to 10 minutes, or until peach slices are tender. Spoon mixture into container of an electric blender; process until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides. Return mix to saucepan; add sugar and remaining ingredients to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 to 10 minutes until thickened. Serve warm over pancakes, waffles or French toast.Recipe categories: Sweet sauces, Sauces, Condiments, etc..
