Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- almond extract - 1/4 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- sliced fresh peaches - 2 c
- baked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make peach pie:
Sprinkle peaches with lemon juice and sugar; let stand 1 hour. Drain. Measure 1 cup of this syrup and add cornstarch. Blend. Stir over low heat until thick. Remove from heat. Add butter, salt and extract. Cool.Place peaches in baked pie shell. Pour cooled mixture over. Chill. Top with whipped cream.
