Peach pecan muffins

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• chopped pecans
• milk - 1/2 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour
• egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• melted butter - 2 Tbsp
• brown sugar, packed - 1/3 c
• butter, melted - 1/2 c
• medium size fresh peaches, peeled and diced - 2 item

How to make peach pecan muffins:

Topping:1/2 c. chopped pecans1/3 c. brown sugar, packed1/4 c. flour1 tsp. cinnamon2 Tbsp. melted butter In a bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. In another bowl, mix egg with butter and milk. Stir egg mixture into the flour mixture just until blended. Add peaches.

For topping, in small bowl, blend pecans with brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and melted butter to make a crumbly mixture. Divide muffin batter among 12 medium size buttered muffin tins. Top with pecan mixture. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
