  • eggs - 2 item
  • sour cream - 8 oz
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • all purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
  • cup sugar - 1 item
  • cup all purpose flour - 1 item
  • cup butter or margarine - 1/2 item
  • + 1 16-oz

How to make peach kuchen:

Filling:2 cans (1 29-oz. + 1 16-oz.) sliced peaches, drained2 eggs1 cup sugar1/4 tsp. salt3 Tbsp. all purpose flour8 oz. sour cream To prepare crust, in bowl combine flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter to form a dough. Pat lightly into 7 x 11 x 2 ungreased baking dish. Arrange peaches over crust mixture. In bowl beat eggs, whisk in sugar, salt, flour and sour cream until mixture is smooth. Pour over peaches. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and bake 35 minutes more or until center is set.

2 cans of fruit pie filling can be substituted for peaches.
