Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • can evaporated milk - 1 12
  • whole milk, 1 1/2 quarts - 6 c
  • c heavy cream, 1/2 pint - 1 item
  • fresh squeezed lemon juice, seeds to be removed - 2 tbsp
  • peeled and coarsely chopped fresh Georgia Peaches - 4 c

How to make peach ice cream:

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, mixing well. Pour mixture into 1 gallon electric ice cream freezer and freeze according to manufactures instructions, about 35 to 40 minutes. Freeze until firm. Freeze any leftovers immediately. Yield about 1 gallon.
