Peach cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- salt
- flour - 1/2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1 Tbsp
- light cream - 1 item
- sliced peaches raw
How to make peach cobbler:
In saucepan, combine peaches, water and 1/2 cup sugar; bring to a boil. Keep hot. Beat egg, 1/2 cup sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add milk. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Spread batter in greased baking dish. Pour hot peaches over the batter. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until fruit is tender. Serve with cream.
