Peach chutney
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar
- vinegar - 1 qt
- raisins - 1/2 lb
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- clove garlic - 1 item
- red chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- mustard seed - 2 Tbsp
- fresh ginger, peeled and chopped - 2/3 c
- peaches, peeled and cut into small chunks - 4 lb
How to make peach chutney:
Put the onion, garlic and raisins through food chopper. Put all ingredients in a large pot and boil 1 hour or until chutney is a rich brown color and rather thick. Pour while hot into 3 hot pint jars and seal at once.Recipe categories: Sweet sauces, Sauces, Chutneys.
