  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • almond extract - 1/2 tsp
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • peaches, drained and chopped reserve 2/3 c - 1 qt
  • large container Cool Whip or 2 envelopes Dream Whip - 1 item

How to make peach bavarian:

Dissolve jello, sugar and salt in boiling water. Add 2/3 cup of peach syrup. Chill until slightly thickened. Blend almond extract into whipped topping. Gently blend into gelatin; add peaches. Pour into large casserole dish (9 x 13 inches). Chill until firm.
