Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped onions - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
- jar pimento - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- green peas, drained - 2 c
How to make pea casserole:
Saute in 1/2 stick butter the first 3 ingredients; add to peas. Then add pimento, water chestnuts and soup. Spread buttered bread crumbs over top.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Greens.
