Ingredients/Components
- shrimp can be combined with scallops - 12 oz
- onion - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- dry white wine - 1 c
- chicken bouillon granules - 1 Tbsp
- dried basil - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- medium tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped - 2 item
- linguine - 10 oz
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- snipped fresh parsley - 1/2 c
- red pepper optional - 1/4 tsp
- zucchini slices optional - 1 item
How to make pasta with shrimp and wine:
In a saucepan, cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter and olive oil until tender, but not brown. Stir in wine, bouillon granules, basil, salt, pepper and red pepper (optional). Bring to a boil gently, uncovered, for 12 to 15 minutes, until liquid is reduced by half.Halve shrimp lengthwise; add to wine mixture. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes or until shrimp is tender. Stir in chopped tomatoes and zucchini.
