Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 1/2 lb
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- ground pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- jalapeno pepper cheese - 1/2 lb
- liverwurst from deli section not Oscar Mayer - 1/2 lb
How to make party pate:
Melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and onion; saute until soft. Make sure all cheeses and liverwurst are at room temperature.In small batches, blend all ingredients in a food blender until thoroughly mixed. Pack into a mold lined with Saran Wrap and chill several hours.
Unmold and serve with party rye crackers. Makes approximately 5 cups.
