Parmesan vegetable toss
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 4
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- can sliced water chestnuts - 8 oz
- mayonnaise
- basil leaves - 1/2 tsp
- fresh broccoli flowerets - 4 c
- seasoned croutons - 2 c
- medium sweet onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- fresh cauliflower flowerets - 4 c
- large head lettuce, torn in small bits - 1 item
- bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled - 1 lb
How to make parmesan vegetable toss:
Dressing:2 c. mayonnaise2 to 4 Tbsp. sugar1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. basil leaves Mix together first 3 ingredients. Mix dressing ingredients. Pour dressing over broccoli/cauliflower/onion mixture. Refrigerate several hours. Just before serving, add lettuce, croutons, bacon and water chestnuts.
