  • sugar - 2 4
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
  • can sliced water chestnuts - 8 oz
  • mayonnaise
  • basil leaves - 1/2 tsp
  • fresh broccoli flowerets - 4 c
  • seasoned croutons - 2 c
  • medium sweet onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
  • fresh cauliflower flowerets - 4 c
  • large head lettuce, torn in small bits - 1 item
  • bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled - 1 lb

How to make parmesan vegetable toss:

Dressing:2 c. mayonnaise2 to 4 Tbsp. sugar1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. basil leaves Mix together first 3 ingredients. Mix dressing ingredients. Pour dressing over broccoli/cauliflower/onion mixture. Refrigerate several hours. Just before serving, add lettuce, croutons, bacon and water chestnuts. Toss lightly.
