Parmesan corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt
- flour - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- sliced celery - 1/2 c
- carrots, sliced - 1/2 c
- diced potatoes - 2 c
- can creamed corn - 1 oz
How to make parmesan corn chowder:
Cook potatoes, celery and carrots in boiling water with salt and pepper for 10 minutes. Make white sauce of flour, margarine and milk. Melt cheese in sauce. Add corn to sauce and then stir into vegetables. Heat before serving.Recipe categories: Potato, Soups & stews, Chowders.
