Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/3 c
- cake yeast - 1 item
- lukewarm water
How to make parker house rolls:
Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar, salt, shortening and lightly beaten egg. Fold in flour. Roll out dough and cut out large size biscuits, folding them in half with patty of butter between fold.
