Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- bacon fat or oil - 3 Tbsp
- peeled apples, cut in chunks or wedges - 5 c
How to make pan-fried apples:
Heat fat or oil in heavy frypan over low heat. Add prepared apples; sprinkle with lemon juice and sugar. Brown lightly, then turn once. If apples are not tender after second side is browned, cover and cook a few minutes longer. Makes 6 (1/2-cup) serviRecipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Apple.
