Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • dark brown sugar, packed - 1 c
  • chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
  • sifted flour - 1/2 c
  • chopped, peeled apple - 1 c

How to make ozark pudding:

Beat eggs and sugar together until creamy. Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Add vanilla, nuts and apple. Mix well. Pour into a 10-inch greased pie pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Cut into wedges and serve warm with ice cream.
