Ingredients/Components
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- milk or half and half - 1 item
- oysters - 1 pt
- stacks saltines, broken or oyster crackers - 2 item
How to make oyster pie:
Melt margarine and mix with broken saltines. Heat oysters in juice until edges curl. Use slotted spoon and dip out oysters and layer with crackers. Use liquid from oysters and add enough milk to make 3 1/2 cups liquid. Pour over oysters and crackers. Bake at 350° till it bubbles.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Savory pies.
