Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- flour - 2 c
- buttermilk - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
- oysters reserve juice - 1 pt
How to make oyster fritters:
Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda. Beat eggs well. Add buttermilk and salt and beat again. Then mix in dry ingredients and oyster juice. Add oysters and stir to coat. Deep fry at 350°.Recipe categories: Egg, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
