Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- tapioca - 6 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- red wine - 1/2 c
- onions, sliced thin - 3 item
- 2 can tomatoes
- stew meat, cut up do not brown - 2 lb
- to 8 stalks celery, cut in 2-inch pieces - 6 item
- to 8 carrots, cut up into 2-inch pieces - 6 item
- potatoes, cut in squares - 4 item
How to make oven stew:
Put all ingredients in heavy casserole or Dutch oven. Cover and bake at 250° for 5 hours, at 300° for 4 hours or 350° for 3 hours.Note: Do not stir, just ignore; makes its own gravy.
