Oven porcupines
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- hamburger - 1 lb
- celery salt - 1/2 tsp
- uncooked regular rice - 1/2 c
How to make oven porcupines:
Heat oven to 350°. Mix meat, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salts, garlic and pepper. Shape meatballs. Place in ungreased baking dish (8 x 8 x 2-inch). Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over meatballs. Cover with foil. Bake 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.Skillet Porcupines: Prepare as directed. Drain off fat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 minutes. If necessary, add small amount of water during cooking.
