Oven porcupines
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- celery salt - 1/2 tsp
- uncooked regular rice - 1/2 c
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- can 15 oz tomato sauce - 1 item
- water omit if using cooked rice - 1 c
How to make oven porcupines:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix meat, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, the salts, garlic powder and pepper. Shape mixture by rounded tablespoons into balls. Place meatballs in ungreased 8 x 8 x 2 baking dish.Stir together the remaining ingredients and pour over meatballs. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes. Makes 4-6 servings.
