Ingredients/Components
- fresh or frozen fillets - 1 lb
- beaten egg - 1 item
- fine dried bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- shredded sharp cheese - 1 c
How to make oven fried fish:
Thaw fish. Divide into 3 portions. Dip fish into beaten egg, then into bread crumbs. Place fish into shallow greased baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle mixture of butter and lemon juice over fish. Then sprinkle with cheese. Bake in 500° oven until golden brown and fish flakes easily with fork, 6 to 8 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Fish, Seafood.
