  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • cornmeal - 1/4 c
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • dry bread crumbs - 1/4 c
  • margarine or butter, melted - 3 Tbsp
  • chopped fresh or 1/4 tsp - 3/4 tsp
  • lean fish fillets - 1 lb

How to make oven fried fish:

Move oven rack to position slightly above middle of oven. Heat oven to 500°. Cut fish fillets into 2 x 1 1/2-inch pieces. Mix cornmeal, bread crumbs, paprika, salt, dill weed and pepper.

Dip fish into milk, then coat with cornmeal mixture. Place fish in rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inches. Drizzle margarine over fish. Bake, uncovered, about 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Makes 4 servings (205 calories per serving).
