- shortening - 1/4 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- cut-up chicken - 2 to
- Potato Buds mashed potatoes dry
How to make oven-fried chicken:
Preheat oven to 425°. Heat shortening in baking pan (13 x 9 x 2-inches) in oven until melted. Mix potatoes, cheese, salt and pepper. Dip chicken into egg. Roll in potato mixture. Place chicken pieces, skin side down, in pan. Bake until thickest pieces are done, about 1 hour. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
