Oven french toast



  • cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • slices bread - 12 item
  • salt to taste if desired - 1 item

How to make oven french toast:

Melt margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon in bottom of 9 x 13-inch aluminum pan (not a glass pan). Cover with 2 layers of bread. Mix eggs, milk and salt. Pour over bread layers. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight. Uncover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove from pan promptly. Turn pan upside down. This is a good breakfast item. Serves 6 to 8.
