Oven caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/4 c
- popped corn - 15 c
How to make oven caramel corn:
Preheat oven to 250°. Divide popped corn into 2 large baking pans. Mix brown sugar, butter and corn syrup and salt in saucepan; cook and stir over medium heat until it bubbles around the edge. Cook 5 minutes more. Take pan off heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour equal amounts of the mixture over the popcorn. Stir until popcorn is coated. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
