  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • soda - 1/2 tsp
  • margarine - 1 c
  • butter flavoring - 1 tsp
  • white corn syrup - 1/2 c
  • burnt sugar flavoring - 1 tsp
  • batches popped corn - 2 item

How to make oven caramel corn:

Sort out unpopped kernels. Combine brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt. Boil 5 minutes. Stir in flavoring and soda. Pour over popcorn. Put in 2 large pans and place in a 250° oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Cool. May add peanuts before putting in oven.
