Oven caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- popped popcorn no salt - 15 c
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- Karo light corn syrup - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
How to make oven caramel corn:
Preheat oven to 200°. Combine brown sugar, Karo, salt and margarine in a large pot. Heat on medium, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a full boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove from burner and add baking soda. Stir until all foamy. Pour immediately over popped popcorn, coating well. Bake in large shallow pan for 50 to 60 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes. Cool.
