Ingredients/Components

  • 15 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • corn syrup - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 1/2 tsp

How to make oven caramel corn:

Heat oven to 200°. Divide popped corn into 2 ungreased pans (13 x 9 x 2-inch). In saucepan, heat sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt, stirring occasionally until bubbly around edges. Continue cooking on medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda until foamy. Pour over popped corn. Stir until well coated. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool.
