Oven caramel corn
Ingredients/Components
- 15 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- corn syrup - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
How to make oven caramel corn:
Heat oven to 200°. Divide popped corn into 2 ungreased pans (13 x 9 x 2-inch). In saucepan, heat sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt, stirring occasionally until bubbly around edges. Continue cooking on medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda until foamy. Pour over popped corn. Stir until well coated. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
