Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • water - 1 c
  • oil - 3 Tbsp
  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • cubed potatoes - 2 c
  • medium carrots, sliced - 4 item
  • can beef broth - 10 oz
  • Greek seasoning - 1 item
  • beef bouillon cube - 1 item
  • small onions, chopped - 3 item
  • stew beef - 2 lb
  • marjoram leaves - 1/2 tsp
  • can Italian stewed tomatoes - 16 oz

How to make oven beef stew:

Bake covered in 325° oven for 2 hours. Brown meat and seasoning in oil. Add flour, salt, garlic powder, marjoram and pepper. Stir in tomatoes and broth and mix well. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Stir twice during baking. Remove bay leaf.
