Oven barbecued steak
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 3/4 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- round steak - 3 lb
How to make oven barbecued steak:
Cut meat into 10 serving pieces. In large skillet, brown meat in oil over medium heat. Remove to Dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients to skillet; simmer 5 minutes. Pour ketchup mixture over meat. Cover and bake 2 hours at 350°. (Excellent with venison.)Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Low Carb.
