Oven barbecued chicken
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- catsup - 1/2 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- dry onion soup mix - 1/2 pkg
- skinned chicken, cut up - 1 to
- no-cholesterol oil - 1/2 c
How to make oven barbecued chicken:
Season chicken with pepper. Combine all other ingredients. Preheat oven to 350°. Place chicken in a shallow pan. Cover with 1/3 sauce. Bake 1 hour. Turn and add more sauce. Bake 1 hour more and add remaining sauce. Watch carefully. If sauce brown too much, add a little water. Reduce heat to hold until chicken is done.
