- can tomato soup - 1 item
- medium potatoes - 3 item
- stalk celery - 1 item
- small bay leaf - 1 item
- whole cloves - 2 item
- beef stew meat - 1 lb
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- canned peas - 1 c
How to make oven baked beef stew:
Cut meat into 1 inch cubes, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and dredge with flour. Melt shortening in skillet, and brown meat in it. Transfer meat to a 2-quart casserole.
