Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • Cool Whip - 1 item
  • can cherry pie filling - 1 item
  • red food coloring - 1 tsp
  • 9-inch pie shells - 2 item
  • bananas, sliced - 6 item
  • large crushed pineapple - 1 item

How to make out of this world pie:

Combine in a saucepan cherry pie filling, sugar, pineapple, cornstarch and red food coloring. Cook on medium heat until thick. Remove from heat and add gelatin and allow to cool; add bananas and pecans. Pour into pie shells, top with Cool Whip or whipped cream. Chill.
