Ingredients/Components
- oil
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- soy sauce
- carrots, peeled and sliced - 2 item
- broccoli flowerets - 1 c
- sesame oil - 3/4 tsp
- snow peas - 1/4 lb
- cauliflowerets - 1 c
- red pepper, cut in strips - 1 item
- fresh ginger or 1/8 tsp - 1/4 tsp
How to make oriental vegetables:
Marinade:1/4 c. oil2 Tbsp. lemon juice1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce3/4 tsp. sesame oil1/4 tsp. fresh ginger or 1/8 tsp. ground ginger Cook broccoli in boiling water (high heat) 4 minutes or until crisp; rinse with cold water. Dry with paper towel and place in bowl. Repeat with cauliflowerets (5 minutes). Repeat with snow peas (cook 1 minute). Add pepper and carrots. In small bowl, combine oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger. Pour over vegetables. Toss well. Refrigerate several hours before serving.Recipe categories: Vegan, Vegetables, Vegetarian.
