  • sugar - 1 c
  • oil - 1 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 1/4 c
  • soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • green onions - 5 item
  • slivered almonds - 1 pkg
  • sunflower seeds - 1 pkg
  • head cabbage - 1 item
  • Ramen noodles - 2 pkg
  • head nappa cabbage - 1 item

How to make oriental slaw:

Slice cabbage and onions thin and place in large bowl. Melt margarine in baking pan; add noodles, almonds and sunflower seeds. Bake at 350° about 15 minutes, breaking noodles apart as they bake. When toasted, place on layers of paper towels to cool. Mix remaining ingredients in blender for dressing. Mix cabbage, topping and dressing just before serving.
