Oriental pork chops
Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- water - 2 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
- honey - 1/4 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- sesame seed - 1 Tbsp
- Tabasco sauce - 3/4 tsp
- dry sherry wine - 1/2 c
- minced ginger - 4 tsp
- pork chops 1-inch thick - 4 item
- orange slices, cut into quarters - 1 item
How to make oriental pork chops:
In medium saucepan, heat oil. Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat; add sherry, soy sauce, honey, orange peel, sesame seed and Tabasco sauce. Place chops in large shallow dish or plastic bag; add marinade. Cover; refrigerate for 1 hour. Turn chops occasionally. Remove chops from marinade; pour marinade into small saucepan. Place chops on grill about 5 inches from source of heat. Grill 10 minutes on each side. Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine cornstarch and water; stir.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Meat, Pork.
