Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 item
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • cooking oil - 1 item
  • soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • ketchup - 1/4 c
  • rice vinegar - 1/2 c
  • garlic salt to taste - 1 item
  • fryer, cut up - 2 to
  • chicken stock - 1/4 c
  • Accent salt - 1 tsp

How to make oriental chicken:

Sprinkle chicken generously with garlic salt. Roll each piece in cornstarch. Dip into beaten eggs. Saute in small amount of cooking oil until brown.

Combine remaining ingredient for sauce; mix well. Place chicken in glass casserole dish. Cover with sauce. Microwave on High for 25 to 30 minutes or until tender. Check after 20 minutes to see if your microwave oven is cooking faster than some.
