Oriental beef stew
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 3
- water - 1/4 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- beef broth - 3 c
- stew meat - 1 to
- bag frozen cauliflower - 1 item
- green pepper, in chunks - 1 item
How to make oriental beef stew:
Brown meat in oil. Add broth. Cover and simmer 1 hour, until meat is tender. Add cauliflower, green pepper, soy sauce and garlic. Cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, until vegetables are tender.Combine cornstarch, sugar and water. Stir into meat mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in onion. Serve over cooked rice.
