Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • vanilla ice cream - 1 qt
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • evaporated milk - 2/3 c
  • butter, melted - 1/4 c
  • sq - 2 oz
  • carton Cool Whip - 1 item
  • Oreo cookies, crushed - 30 item
  • nuts, crushed - 1 item

How to make oreo ice cream dessert:

Combine cookies and 1/4 cup butter. Press into bottom of cake pan. Put softened ice cream on cookie mixture and freeze. Boil chocolate, butter, sugar and evaporated milk. Cook until thick. Cool and add vanilla. Spread on ice cream. Freeze. Put Cool Whip and nuts on top of chocolate and freeze. Enjoy.
