Orange truffles



  • pkg - 1 oz
  • coconut - 1 c
  • can Pillsbury double Dutch chocolate frosting - 1 item
  • orange flavored liquor or 1 tsp - 1/4 c

How to make orange truffles:

Melt the chocolate chips in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly; remove from the heat. Stir in the orange liquor and frosting. Blend well. Refrigerate for 1 or 2 hours or until firm.

Place the coconut in a pie pan. Scoop the chocolate mixture into 1-inch balls; drop onto coconut (mixture will be sticky). Roll to coat. Place in foil candy cups, if desired. Store in the refrigerator.

Tip: Truffles can also be coated with chocolate sprinkles, ground nuts or cocoa.
