Orange slice cookies

Ingredients/Components

• white sugar - 1 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• shortening - 1 c
• eggs, beaten - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• quick oatmeal - 1 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/8 tsp
• orange slice candy, cut and floured - 1 lb

How to make orange slice cookies:

Cream white and brown sugars. Cut shortening in. Add beaten eggs, vanilla and milk. Add flour, oatmeal, baking soda and salt. Stir in orange slice pieces. Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
