- small boxes orange jello - 2 item
- large can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- cream cheese soft - 1 (8
- Cool Whip - 1 item
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- pineapple juice - 1 item
- box powdered sugar - 1/4 item
- sugar - 3/4 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
How to make orange-pineapple salad:
Mix jello according to package directions. Allow jello to set and stir in drained pineapple. Return to refrigerator and let jello congeal. Combine together cream cheese, Cool Whip and powdered sugar. Mix well and spread over jello.In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, eggs and pineapple juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture becomes thick. Allow to cool. Spread over jello mixture. Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
