Orange glazed carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- ground ginger - 1/8 tsp
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- cooked carrots, sliced thin - 3 c
How to make orange glazed carrots:
Drain cooked carrots. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and ginger. Add orange juice. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more. Stir in margarine. Pour over hot carrots, stirring lightly to coat.Recipe categories: Fruit, Side dish, Vegetables.
