Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 tsp
  • egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
  • cold water - 1 1
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • miniature marshmallows - 1 1
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
  • whipped topping - 2 c
  • orange gelatin - 1 pkg
  • diced bananas - 1 1
  • lemon gelatin - 1 pkg
  • can crushed pineapple, drained save juice

How to make orange delight:

Dissolve lemon and orange jello in boiling water and add cold water; chill until syrupy. Add bananas, nuts and pineapple to gelatin mixture and pour into 7 x 11-inch dish. Sprinkle marshmallows over top and gently push them into gelatin. Refrigerate until congealed.

Prepare topping by mixing together flour and sugar. Add pineapple juice, egg and lemon juice. Cook until mixture becomes thick. Cool. Fold in 2 cups whipped topping. Spread over congealed salad. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
