Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- powdered sugar
- grated orange peel - 1 Tbsp
- orange juice - 1 T
- chopped almonds - 1/3 c
- cans crescent dinner rolls - 2 oz
How to make orange danish:
Icing:1/2 c. powdered sugar1 T. orange juice Preheat oven to 375°. Combine the cream cheese, sugar and orange peel until well blended. Roll out each can of crescent rolls. Overlap long edges, making two 13 x 7-inch rectangles. Press perforations together. Spread cream cheese mixture on each rectangle. Sprinkle with almonds. Roll up dough from long sides, pressing edges to seal. Shape into a ring. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Cut outer edges every 1 inch. Bake for 15 minutes.Icing: Mix together sugar and orange juice; drizzle on warm Danish. Top with cherries and almonds.
